Armenian chess masters compete in Spain and Poland

YEREVAN. – Armenian Grandmaster (GM) Karen Grigoryan has scored 4.5 points after five rounds and is leading, together with four other participants, at the chess open that is held in Barcelona, Spain.

GM Karen Movsziszian is one point behind the current leaders.

Separately, GM Tigran L. Petrosian has scored 4.5 points after six rounds at the Najdorf Memorial that is held in the Polish capital city Warsaw.

He is in third place, at present, and half a point behind the current leaders: GMs Durarbayli (Azerbaijan) and Markowski (Poland).

GM Hrant Melkumyan has 4 points so far, Armchess reported.
