Barça to prohibit Suárez from biting opponents

Uruguay national football squad and Liverpool F.C. (England) striker Luis Suárez may earn €40 million at FC Barcelona (Spain), if he agrees—when signing the respective deal—to the article on not biting opponents, Mundo Deportivo reported.

Barça offer the 27-year-old player £160,000 per week, but they want guarantees that the Uruguay international will no longer bite his opponents.

Luis Suárez had bit the shoulder of Italy and Juventus (Italy) defender Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 FIFA World Cup group match between Italy and Uruguay. As a result, FIFA  suspended Suárez for nine international matches and banned him for four months from any football-related activity.
