Yerevan hosts cycling road race

YEREVAN. – The 14th cycling road race, which was devoted to fallen Karabakh War hero Samvel Gevorgyan, was held Sunday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.  

 The event brought together over fifty of Armenia’s strongest cyclists, who competed in the 48 km race.    

Before the race, however, the participating cyclers placed flowers to Gevorgyan’s bust paying tribute to the hero who sacrificed his life for the Motherland.  

 The road race was held in three categories: juniors, youth, and seniors.
