Yerevan holds running race marking Olympic Day

Olympic Day is held annually on June 23, and to mark this global day, various events are organized around the world.

In this connection, the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (ARMNOC) had invited the running lovers over thirteen years old to participate in the annual running race that is held in the streets of capital city Yerevan, the ARMNOC website informed.  

The winners and awardees of the event, which was held in different age groups, received International Olympic Committee (IOC) certificates, and cash prizes.

Eighty-year-old Gohar Grigoryan and ninety-year-old Nerses Simonyan were the oldest participants in the running race.
