Women's world boxing championships over for Armenia

Women's world boxing championships in China is over for Armenia.

Armine Sinabyan and Ashkhen Simonyan presented the state. Both athletes were defeated in their first bouts.

Simonyan (75 kg) was defeated by Romanian Luminita Turcin 24:6 on Monday. Earlier on May 12 Sinabyan (60 kg) was defeated by Spanish Jennifer Miranda 9:13.

To note, the championship serves as qualifying event for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
