2014 World Cup: Les Bleus off to great start

he France national football squad kicked off their 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil with strong win.  In the first match in Group E, Les Bleus defeated Honduras by a score of 3-0.  

French international and FC Real Madrid (Spain) striker Karim Benzema became the “hero” of the game, as he scored two goals for his country. 

Owing to the number of goals they scored, France lead the current standings in their group. Switzerland, who defeated Ecuador by a score of 2-1, also have 3 points in Group E.
