2014 World Cup: Holland thrash reining world and European champions

The Spain national football squad have commenced their campaign at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with a sensational defeat. In the first match in Group B, the reining world and European champions lost to the Netherlands by a score of 1-5.  

As a result, the Dutch took revenge on the Spaniards, who had defeated them in the final of the previous World Cup.   

Chile and Australia are in Group B, too.
