Ozbiliz undergoes surgery in Italy

Armenia national football squad and FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) midfielder Aras Ozbiliz on Wednesday underwent a knee surgery in Rome, Italy, the club’s official website reported.

According to Spartak team physician Mikhail Vardapetov, Ozbiliz’s operation was a success. The date for his second surgery will become clear in two months.

The 24-year-old player had suffered a rupture in his right-knee ligaments during Armenia’s friendly against Algeria on May 31.
