Melkumyan ends Sydney tournament one point behind winner

Armenian GM Hrant Melkumyan has ended his matches at the chess open that was held in Sydney, Australia.  

Melkumyan scored 6 points after nine rounds in the tournament, and came in seventh. 

Armenia’s GM was only one point behind the winner, International Master Moulthun Ly (Australia).

Earlier, Hrant Melkumyan had captured third spot in the tournament that was held in the Australian capital city Canberra.
