Candidates Tournament 2014: Aronian defeats Mamedyarov

Armenian GM Levon Aronian defeated Azerbaijan’s Shakhriyar Mamedyarov in the second round of Candidates Tournament 2014, which is held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Aronian's opponent accepted his defeat on the 44th move. Former champion Viswanathan Anand ended in a draw his game against Veselin Topalov.
