Armenia aykikendo karate team wins 14 medals
15:59 11 March, 2014YEREVAN. – The Aykikendo Karate Federation of Armenia competed, on March 8 and 9, in the Second International Open Championship of Contact Fighting, the federation press secretariat informs.
Representatives from Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan participated in the tournament.
The federation’s 8-to-16-year-olds’ and the seniors’ teams, with thirty athletes, represented Armenia at the championship.
The Aykikendo Karate Federation of Armenia team returned from the event with five gold, six silver and three bronze medals.
