Armenian athletes return from Georgia with 7 medals

Representatives from Armenia’s, Georgia’s, and Azerbaijan’s leading judo clubs competed at the International Youth Judo Tournament, which was held in Lagodekhi, Georgia, between Tuesday and Thursday.   

As a result, Shavarsh Sahakyan (+66 kg) from Armenia’s Charentsavan city performed excellently and captured first place in his weight category. 

In total, the Armenian team captured one gold, two silver, and four bronze medals.
