Sochi 2014: Sergey Mikayelyan starts first

Cross-country skier Sergey Mikayelyan, who represents Armenia at the 2014 Winter Olympics, was the first to start Friday’s Men’s 15km Classic ski race of the games.

The participants in this event begin the course separately, and with a thirty-second interval.

Armenia’s second representative, Artur Yeghoyan, will start the competition in the 76th position.

A total of 92 cross-country skiers are taking part in this event.
