Gevorg Ghazaryan training with Ukrainian club in Turkey
15:16 28 January, 2014Armenia national football squad and FC Shakhter Karagandy (Kazakhstan) midfielder Gevorg Ghazaryan is training with FC Metallurg Donetsk (Ukraine), which is holding a training camp in Turkey.
Although the 25-year-old midfielder was to take part in the second training camp of FC Kairat Almaty (Kazakhstan), it became apparent on Tuesday that he did not join this club.
In its place, the Armenian international trained—in Turkey—with his former club Metallurg Donetsk, where he played between 2011 and 2013.
The parties are negotiating over contract, and the player’s future will be determined in the coming days.
Even though Ghazaryan is still formally a Shakhter player, he does not wish to continue his professional career in this club.
