Armenians play in World Youth Chess Championships

The sixth-round games were played in the boys’ U18 category of the World Youth Chess Championships 2013 for boys and girls, which is held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. 

As a result, Hovhannes Gabuzyan garnered 4.5 points and he stands in fifth place. Gabuzyan trails the current leader by one point. Karen Grigoryan, on the other hand, has 4 points.  

Davit Paravyan is the current leader in the U16 category. He amassed 5 points after six rounds. 

Aram Hakobyan garnered 5.5 points in the U12 category and, together with several opponents, he shares first to third places.

The tournament will come to an end on Saturday.
