Movsisyan among candidates for Russian league Player of the Year
15:50 18 December, 2013Sovetski Sport of Russia is conducting an opinion poll to determine the Russian Premier League football’s 2013 Player of the Year.
From the Armenia national squad members that play in the Russian top division, solely FC Spartak Moscow forward Yura Movsisyan is in the list of the respective candidates.
Movsisyan, along with his Spartak teammate Denis Glushakov, is among the current leaders of the survey.
Yura Movsisyan scored twelve goals so far for Spartak in the current season of the Russian Premier League. Together with Russian international and FC Rostov striker Artyom Dzyuba, he is also the current top scorer in the league. In the previous season of the Russian league, the Armenian international shared the top scorer’s award with FC Krasnodar’s Brazilian midfielder/striker, Wánderson.
