Mercedes presents new bolide
16:12 21 February, 2012Formula-1 Mercedes team presented new bolide for the 2012 season, BBC reports.
The teams Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren have already presented their bolides and managed to test them in the races at Jerez, unlike Mercedes. The Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher performed on the modified bolides last season, mainly testing the new set of tires.
To note, neither Rosberg nor Schumacher could win medals last year, and Mercedes was the fourth team in the season.
“We are ready to go ahead. None of us is happy with the fourth position. However, we can succeed with the team and resources we have,” team principal Ross Brawn said.
The new season will launch on Mar. 18 with Grand Prix in Australia.
