World Chess Team Championship: Armenia vs. Turkey

Seventh-round games will be played Tuesday at the men’s World Chess Team Championship 2013 being held in Antalya, Turkey.

In Round 7, three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the reining World Team Chess champions Armenia—comprising Grandmasters Levon Aronian, Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian, and Tigran Petrosian—will face Turkey.

After the sixth round Armenia and Turkey have tallied 6 and 2 points, respectively, and Ukraine are the current leaders with 10 points. 

In the previous round Armenia lost to Germany by a score of 3-1.
