Armenian representatives’ opponents are announced

The European Judo Championships will get underway Thursday in Chelyabinsk, Russia. And the challengers of Armenia’s national team members are announced.   

In the men’s competition, Hovhannes Davtyan (60 kg) will face Finland’s representative in the 1/16 finals.

Armen Nazaryan (66 kg) will fight against Georgia’s judoist in the 1/16 finals.

Artyom Baghdasaryan’s (81 kg) opponent in the 1/16 finals will be from Ukraine.

Hakob Arakelyan (100 kg) will face Latvia’s representative in the 1/16 finals. 

In the women’s event, Gayane Harutyunyan (48 kg) is in the 1/8 finals, and she is waiting for winner of the match between the French and Turkish judoists.  

Zhanna Stankevich (57 kg) will fight against her Spanish opponent in the 1/16 finals.
