MOSCOW. – Armenian national football squad and FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) forward Yura Movsisyan left for the United States to undergo knee surgery at a Los Angeles hospital, the Russian club’s official website reports.
In the words of Spartak team physician Mikhail Vardapetov, Movsisyan, 26, will undergo a medical on Tuesday and, subsequently, the day of his surgery will be determined.
To note, Yura Movsisyan had aggravated his knee-joint injury in Spartak’s recent Russian Premier League game against FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, and he was injected with painkillers to be able to play in his club’s last match against CSKA Moscow.
