NHL: Goalie makes amazing save

Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward made an unusual save during his team’s National Hockey League (NHL) regular season home game against the Ottawa Senators.   

The Canadian goalie initially saved an Ottawa shot with his foot, but the guest team’s forward that intercepted the resulting deflection shot the puck toward the Carolina net at an awkward height for the goalie.      

Ward, however, showed quick reaction and saved this shot with his stick.
