Armenia to host international car race

YEREVAN. – The Automobile Federation of Armenia (FAA) organized the Jeep Trophy Sprint international race entitled “Motul Low Range 2013.”

The event will be held on Sunday, and in the area nearby Ijevan city of Armenia’s Tavush Region, the FAA Secretariat informs.

Around forty race drivers from Armenia, Georgia, Turkey and Iran have applied to take part in this competition, which will have four categories.    

But this race stands out by the fact that its participants will compete all together and on the same speedway for one hour. 

The prize money of the tournament is 2 million drams (approx. $4,940).
