FC Ural Yekaterinburg, which play in the Russian Premier League, may be declared bankrupt, Znak reports.

Next week Ural’s Board of Directors will discuss the club’s financial difficulties.

To this day the club has not found the fourth sponsor, which Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast (Region) Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev had pledged.

Ural’s other three sponsors, on the other hand, fund the Yekaterinburg team at the level of First League.

To note, Armenian national football squad forwards Edgar Manucharyan and Arthur Sarkisov also play for FC Ural Yekaterinburg.
