Movsisyan’s injury is like cold shower – former Russian international

Movsisyan’s injury will be a very significant loss for Spartak. The most important thing is that it occurred at the most inopportune moment; Yura had just started to score crucial goals for the team.

Former Russian national football team and FC Spartak Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Mostovoi stated the abovementioned.

The ex-Russian international commented on the injury which Armenia international and Spartak forward Yura Movsisyan sustained.

“It’s like a cold shower. It’s hard to say who will be able to replace him. The [Russian club’s] coaching staff needs to contemplate on this matter,” Sovetski Sport quotes Mostovoi as saying.

Due to an injury to his right knee-joint, Movsisyan, 26, could miss out Spartak’s year-ending games.

To note, owing to Yura Movsisyan’s hat-trick, FC Spartak Moscow defeated FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, and by a score of 4-2, in Sunday’s Russian Premier League match.
