Champions League: Valdés surpasses Kahn
10:04 7 November, 2013Spain national football team and FC Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés has passed legendary German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn in most appearances in the Champions League, Barça official website reports.
With the Champions League group match against A.C. Milan (Italy) under his belt, the 31-year-old Catalan took his appearance record to 108 matches, which means he leapfrogged his hero Oliver Kahn who had 107 appearances in the competition.
To note, Spain international and FC Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas tops the list with 133 appearances.
