Armenia’s team Mika achieve 3rd win

Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Mika Women’s chess team achieved their third win in the 2013 European Chess Club Cup being held in Rhodes, Greece.In Round 5, Mika Chess Club defeated Chess Club BAS by a score of 2.5-1.5.

Mika Chess Club comprises grandmasters (GMs) Harika Dronavalli (India), Elina Danielian and Lilit Mkrtchian (Armenia), and Lela Javakhishvili (Georgia).   

After five rounds, Mika are fourth, with 6 points.To note, eleven club teams are taking part in the women’s tournament.
