World Boxing Championship: Aram Avagyan starts with victory

Armenia’s Aram Avagyan (56kg) started the World Boxing Championship with a victory over Gamal Yafai representing England.   

His next opponent is Italy’s champion Yahin Parienello.

Another Armenian boxer Arman Amirkhanyan (69 kg) defeated Israel’s Artyom Masili in 1/32 finals and continues competitions.
