“At the moment we can’t afford to think about the playoffs; we must focus only on doing well against the Czech Republic,” said Bulgarian national football squad manager Lyuboslav Penev. The Bulgarian specialist stated that he regrets for the failures, but does not lose hope for a 2014 World Cup qualifier playoff berth.

“The aim is to play well and win. It’s God’s business whether we reach the playoffs. “We want to finish the campaign the best way possible.“Of course we regret the defeat in Armenia, but overall we can be proud of our efforts,” UEFA official website quotes Penev, 47, as saying.

To note, after nine rounds in the World Cup qualifiers Group B, Italy have already booked their spot at Brazil 2014, with 21 points, Denmark and Bulgaria have 13 points, apiece, Armenia and the Czech Republic have 12 points, each, and Malta have 3 points.
