Balotelli available for game against Armenia
17:34 14 October, 2013Italian international and A.C. Milan striker Mario Balotelli is reported as “available” for Italy’s match against Armenia in the 2014 World Cup football qualifiers, Football Italia reports.
The 23-year-old player took part in the full workout in Monday morning’s training session of the Azzurri.
“We are confident for his condition.
“He will be available for tomorrow night against Armenia, but the CT will decide whether or not to play him,” the Azzurri’s chief medic Enrico Castellacci stated.
The Milan man had suffered a slight injury scare in the build-up to the December 11 draw with Denmark, and he eventually sat out the fixture due to gastroenteritis.
To note, Armenia on Tuesday will be hosted by Italy at Stadio San Paolo in Naples, Italy, in the last group match of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. The official kick-off of the game is at 10։45pm, Armenia time.
