Federation official warns Armenian fans against provocations

Armenian football federation official warned against calls for “warm” reception for Bulgarian national team, adding that provocations will have negative consequences.

Armen Minasyan, Vice President of the Armenian Football Federation (FFA), said all actions that may cause provocations and are not in line the standards and requirements in relation to the receiving party will lead to bans and large fines.

“I am calling not to do anything that can impact the image of Armenian football and can cause problems,” FFA website quotes Minasyan.

The Armenian fan movement (FAF) urged their supporters to prepare “warm” reception for the Bulgarian national.

The 2014 World Cup qualifiers’ return-leg match between Armenia and Bulgaria will be held Friday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.
