Philippe Mexès given four-game ban

A.C. Milan defender Philippe Mexès stood out with his unsportsmanlike conduct during his team’s Serie A match against Juventus.    

The French international had punched Italian international and Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini on the back of the head during a corner.   

As a result, the Italian Football Federation handed Mexès a four-match ban, Football Italia reports.  It means the France international will be out for games against Udinese, Parma, Lazio, and Fiorentina.
