AIBA rejects Armenia’s complaint about Sarukhanyan’s bout

The AIBA Refereeing & Judging Commission rejected application filed by Armenia on the results of Vladimir Sarukhanyan v Josh Taylor bout held in Trabzon, Turkey.

Armenian boxer Vladimir Sarukhanyan (60 kg) lost to Scot Josh Taylor with 9-17 during the Qualification Boxing Tournament in Trabzon.

The Armenia side has filed a complaint saying the referee decision was biased.

The only Armenian boxer to qualify for the Olympic Games is Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg).
