European U23 Weightlifting Championships: Armenia’s Hakobyan captures silver

Armenia’s representative Hayk Hakobyan (+105kg) won a silver medal at the 2013 European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships, which wrapped up in the Estonian capital city Tallinn. Hakobyan, whose personal weight is 126 kilograms, lifted a combined weight of 393 kilograms (182kg Snatch+ 211kg Clean & Jerk). 

Hrach Gharibyan, whose personal weight is 123 kilograms, also represented Armenia in the same weight category. Gharibyan came in fifth, with a combined weight of 369 kilograms (165kg Snatch+ 204kg Clean & Jerk).
