FIDE Women’s Grand Prix: Armenia’s Danielian records first win

Armenian Grandmaster (GM) Elina Danielian defeated GM Zhao Xue (China) in Round 7 of the second stage in FIDE Women’s Grand Prix of chess, which is held in Uzbekistan’s capital city Tashkent. 

After seven rounds, Armenia’s representative achieved one win, suffered three defeats, and drew three ties.  

Danielian is penultimate in the current standings of the tournament. 

The ten-round Grand Prix will end on September 30.
