When Karpin entered the dressing room, Movsisyan turned on the song, “Valera,” stated Russia’s FC Spartak Moscow midfielder Denis Glushakov.

He spoke about Spartak manager Valeri Karpin, and Armenian national football squad and Spartak forward Yura Movsisyan.

“Valeri Karpin asked to turn up the volume of the song. I took part in the Spartak-CSKA [Moscow] derby for the first time.

“Realizing the importance of the game, all of us were seriously preparing for the match. In addition, we conducted good trainings,” Sport Express quotes Glushakov as saying.

To note, FC Spartak Moscow defeated CSKA Moscow in their home game, and Armenian international and Spartak midfielder Aras Ozbilis netted his club’s first goal.
