Karlen Mkrtchyan trains with Anzhi Makhachkala after injury

MAKHACHKALA. – Armenian national football squad and Russia’s FC Anzhi Makhachkala midfielder Karlen Mkrtchyan trained with the general team, informs the club’s official website.

Mkrtchyan, who was substituted due to an injury during Armenia’s recent 2014 World Cup qualification match against Denmark, on Friday took part in Anzhi’s training session, but not in the full program.  

On Saturday morning, the team will hold its final training in Makhachkala, and subsequently head to Tomsk city, where it will face FC Tom Tomsk in a Russian Premier League match.

To note, the Armenian international had earlier informed that he was playing with a hematoma during Armenia’s World Cup qualification away game against the Czech Republic.
