Armenia’s sports delegation heads to France

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s sports delegation, led by Sport and Youth Affairs Minister Yuri Vardanyan, traveled to France. 

The delegation will take part in the 7th Francophonie Games (Jeux de la Francophonie), which will be held from Saturday to September 15 in Nice, France, informs the press service of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.  

The Armenian athletes will participate in these international games for the second time, and they will compete in road cycling race, table tennis, track & field, judo, and freestyle wrestling. 

Armenia first competed in these games when they were held in Beirut, Lebanon, where the Armenian athletes won three silver and bronze medals.
