12:12 3 September, 2013General manager Hans-Joachim Watzke of Germany’s Borussia Dortmund considers justified having paid €27.5 million to acquire Armenian national football team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Following Borussia’s Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt on September 1, Watzke entered the team’s dressing room and addressed the 24-year-old Armenian international.
“Now you know why we paid so much money to purchase you,” Watzke told Mkhitaryan, Kicker reports.
To note, owing to the two goals scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Borussia Dortmund defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in the aforesaid away game, and by a score of 2-1.
