Armenian GM wins two medals in Tokio

Armenian GM Zaven Andriasian won the first prize at the rapid tournament that was held within the framework of The Brain and Mind Sports Olympiad in Tokio, Japan.

Andriasian scored seven points out of nine. The same results had GM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami (Iran). The tie-break Armageddon play-off game was won by Andriasian, Armchess reported.

Armenian GM Tigran Gharamian (France) took the third prize.

Andriasian scored 13.5 points out of 18 and took the second prize at the blitz tournament.

The winner with 14.5 points was GM Vitali Golod (Israel).
