Looking ahead at U.S. Open – Federer
15:16 17 August, 2013I’m happy with my progress along the way, Swiss tennis star Roger Federer stated following his loss against the Spaniard, Rafael Nadal, in the quarterfinals of the Cincinnati Open.
“But at the end, I think Rafa’s confidence and the way he’s playing at the moment got him through. So for me, I think it was a good step in the right direction. And, you know, looking ahead at the U.S. Open,” SI.com quotes Federer as saying.
To note, the Swiss tennis star’s loss will drop him to No. 7 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings next week, his lowest ranking in more than eleven years.
