Russian handball team’s manager gets his nose broken

The Handball Union of Russia fined the head coach of Russian Women’s National Team and Women’s Lada Club Yevgeni Trefilov for staring a fight with the coach of Krasnodar’s Kuban Aleksey Gumyanov.

During the Lada – Kuban match of the Russian Play-Off’s quarter-final Trefilov argued with the head coach of the opponent, Gumyanov on his turn broke Trefilov’s nose. Gumyanov was also fined for 30 000 rubles. Both coaches may face disqualification, Sovetskiy Sport reports.
