Mamedov made very good impression on Armenian national’s manager
16:50 13 April, 2012Armenian national football team’s manager Vardan Minasyan will continue to follow Dutch Zwolle forward Norayr Mamedov’s play, he said in an interview with the Armenian Football Federation website.
Minasyan has left for Belgium to participate in the UEFA regular meeting aimed to raise qualifications of the managers, and later left for the Netherlands to watch Mamedov’s game.
“The reason why I left for the Netherlands was to watch Mamedov’s game. However, he did not play in the match but I watched the videos and he is a good player.
It is important what impression I got talking to Norayr,” Minasyan said adding Mamedov may join the Armenian national as soon as he solves the surname issue.
In addition, he has already turned to the Dutch responsible bodies to change the surname, but the procedure will take long time.
