Metro: Mkhitaryan showed Liverpool manager what might have been

Henrokh Mkhitaryan showed Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers what might have been if he joined the club, Metro tabloid writes.

“Reds boss Brendon Rodgers was left bitterly disappointed when the former Shakhtar Donetsk star opted to join the Champions League runners-up instead of switching to Anfield,” reads the article devoted to Mkhitaryan’s debut for Borussia.

Armenian midfielder made an impressive debut for Borussia by scoring a goal in a friendly against Basel.
