German club striker joins Armenian national football squad

YEREVAN. – Following Thursday’s 2015 UEFA U-21 Championship qualifier game between Armenia and Iceland, which was played in Armenia, Armenian national youth team striker Sargis Adamyan joined the national squad. 

The young player is included in the team roster for Armenia’s 2014 World Cup qualifier Group B match against Malta, the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) official website informs.    

Sargis Adamyan plays his club football at F.C. Hansa Rostock in Germany.

To note, the Armenia vs. Malta return match will kick off at 8pm, local time, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan. The first leg of this game was played in Malta and Armenia had won by a score of 1-0.
