Armenia’s Melkumyan is current leader

Grandmaster (GM) Hrant Melkumyan (Armenia) is the current leader, with 2 points, after two rounds in the 2013 Grand Europe chess open that is underway in Albena, Bulgaria.

Ten other chess masters, including Brazilian-Armenian GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian, likewise have tallied 2 points, apiece, so far.   

The tournament will come to an end on Sunday.
