Yura Movsisyan retires from match due to injury (VIDEOS)

FC Spartak Moscow is ahead, by a score of 2-0, against CSKA Moscow in the 25th-round match in the current season of the Russian Premier League football.  

Armenian national team and Spartak forward Yura Movsisyan was in the starting eleven of his club.

Even though the Armenian international suffered a light injury in the first half of the game, he returned to the pitch in the second half.

Movsisyan commenced Spartak’s attack which resulted in the club’s second goal, but he immediately showed to the Spartak bench that he cannot continue the game due to his injury. As a result, Yura Movsisyan was substituted in the 50th minute.   

Separately, CSKA was unable to convert a penalty shot that was awarded in the 51st minute.
