I don’t remember last time when I showed such effectiveness – Edgar Manucharyan

I do not remember the last time when I showed such effectiveness, said Armenian national football squad and Russia’s FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast—or FC Ural Yekaterinburg—striker/winger Edgar Manucharyan, who scored five goals in his club’s last two games.  In the last league match of the current season of the Russian National Football League, Ural defeated FC Sibir Novosibirsk by a score of 5-2 and Manucharyan scored a hat-trick, but he had to retire from the game, after the first half, due to injury.

“But everything is normal, now; I am training and am ready for the game against [FC] Khimki. To be honest, I don’t remember the last time when I showed such effectiveness; perhaps solely in the games at the level of youth teams.

Even though I was scoring goals with Ural last year, too, I subsequently underwent a surgery and I was out of action for four months.   I was sure of my strength in the game against Sibir, [and] therefore I took the two penalty shots,” Sportbox.ru quotes Manucharyan, 26, as saying.
