Argentinean national football squad and Spain’s FC Barcelona striker Lionel Messi voluntarily went to the club’s sports facility on Thursday.

To note, Barça Manager Tito Vilanova had given the team a day off to recuperate from their Champions League match against France’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Messi, however, trained on his day off and despite his light injury. Argentinean international and Barcelona defensive midfielder  Javier Mascherano also joined Messi in the training.

Spanish national squad and Barça midfielder Cesc Fàbregas, goalkeeper José Manuel Pinto, and Spanish international and Barcelona striker David Villa likewise did not take a day off, Sport.es reports.
