The fans of Russian First Division football team, FC Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Bashkiria), Russia, have expressed their support to the club’s Armenian striker Mikhail Markosov, whom a traffic police officer had fined for driving with dirty license plates, Sovsport reports.

“It is not a great secret that some Bashkiria officials and their underlings decided that [ice] hockey is above everything. [But] don’t be sad that you dealt with such idiot! Play such that you may find yourself in the Premier League. In that case, he would not have fined [you], but rather asked [for your] autograph,” the FC Ufa fans wrote to Markosov on social network.
