Armenia’s judokas unsuccessful at European championship

The national judo team of Armenia competed at the European Open Championship that was held from Friday to Sunday in Tbilisi, Georgia.

But the Armenian judokas were unsuccessful at the event.  

Karen Janoyan (90 kg) showed the best result by capturing fifth place. Mher Karapetyan (81 kg), on the other hand, came in seventh in his weight category. Hovhannes Davtyan, Artur Vardanyan, Gor Mkrtchyan, Grigor Ivanyan (60 kg), Armen Nazaryan, Tigran Varosyan, Arsen Barseghyan (66 kg), Narek Sukiasyan, Artur Yeranosyan (73 kg), Andranik Chaparyan (81 kg), Rafayel Davtyan (90 kg), Hagop Arakelyan (100 kg), and Azat Abrahamyan (+100 kg) likewise represented Armenia at the event.
